Viagra (Sildenafil Citrate)

GENERIC NAME: Sildenafil Citrate

Generic Viagra
Is an oral drug treatment for erectile dysfunction (impotence) in men. It works by improving the blood flow to the penis, thus helping the patient achieve and maintain an erection when he is sexually stimulated. Viagra needs to be taken at least 30-60 minutes prior to sexual intercourse and remains active in the body for 4 hours. It can be taken as often as once a day.

 

Viagra generally has mild side effects or none. However, like most medications, it is not suitable for all individuals and can be dangerous when used wrongly. Viagra is approved for use by adult men only and should not be used by women.

 

 

SILDENAFIL CITRATE - ORAL

USES:
This medication is used to treat erectile dysfunctional problems - ED (erection problems).

HOW TO USE:
This drug is taken by mouth as needed between four hours and one-half hour before sexual activity (about one hour before is most effective). Take only as directed, usually once daily as needed. Sildenafil works along with sexual stimulation to help achieve an erection


SIDE EFFECTS:
Headache, flushing, stomach upset, nasal stuffiness, diarrhea and dizziness might occur. If these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor promptly. Unlikely but report promptly: painful or other urination problems, vision problems, skin rash. Very unlikely but report promptly: chest pain, fainting, foot or ankle swelling. If you experience a painful or prolonged erection (lasting longer than 4 hours), stop using this drug and seek immediate medical attention. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.


PRECAUTIONS:
Before using this drug, tell your doctor your medical history, including: allergies (especially drug allergies), penis conditions such as fibrosis/scarring (e.g., Peyronie's disease), history of painful/prolonged erection (priapism), sickle cell anemia, blood system cancers (such as leukemia or myeloma), eye problems (retina diseases), kidney or liver disease, bleeding disorders, active stomach ulcers, heart disease, stroke, very high or low blood pressure. Limit alcohol intake, as it may aggravate side effects of this drug. Since this drug may cause dizziness, caution is advised when performing tasks requiring alertness (e.g., driving). To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. This drug is not to be used in women or children. The elderly may be more sensitive to the side effects of this drug, therefore caution is advised in this group.


DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of all nonprescription and prescription medication you may use, especially of: nitrate medications (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate), nitroprusside (any "nitric oxide donor" medicines), cimetidine, erythromycin, azole antifungals (e.g., itraconazole, ketoconazole), mibefradil, rifamycins (e.g., rifampin), high blood pressure medicines, certain HIV protease inhibitors (such as saquinavir, ritonavir, amprenavir), delavirdine. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.


OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe dizziness, fainting, or prolonged erection.


NOTES:
Do not share this medication with others, since they may have a problem that is not effectively treated by this drug. Use of this drug does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases (e.g., HIV, Hepatitis B, gonorrhea, syphilis)

Patients taking Generic Levitra have reported achieving harder erections and improved sexual encounters. Generic Levitra can help many men achieve and sustain an erection, thereby allowing men to restore their sex life to its former level. Generic Levitra has been clinically shown to also improve ED in men who had other health factors, such as diabetes or prostate surgery. 

VARDENAFIL - ORAL

USES:
Vardenafil is used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence; inability to get or keep an erection) in men.

HOW TO USE:
Taken orally, with or without food, 60 minutes before sexual activity. It should not be taken more often than once every 24 hours. Vardenafil works along with sexual stimulation to help achieve an erection.

SIDE EFFECTS:
headache,upset stomach, heartburn, bloating, burping, dizziness, flushing, stuffy or runny nose, flu-like symptoms. Some side effects can be serious. The following symptoms are uncommon, but if you experience any of them, call your doctor immediately: erection that lasts longer than 4 hours, vision changes, swelling of the face, throat, tongue, lips, eyes, hands, feet, ankles, or lower legs, hoarseness, difficulty breathing or swallowing, blurred vision, fainting, hives, rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Before using this drug tell your pharmacist or doctor your medical history, including allergies and medical conditions. Do not take this drug if you are taking alpha blockers such as alfuzosin (Uroxatral), doxazosin (Cardura), prazosin (Minipress), tamsulosin (Flomax), and terazosin (Hytrin); or if you are taking or have recently taken nitrates such as isosorbide dinitrate (Isordril, Sorbitrate), isosorbide mononitrate (Imdur, ISMO), and nitroglycerin (Nitro-BID, Nitro-Dur, Nitroquick, Nitrostat, others). Nitrates come as tablets, sublingual (under the tongue) tablets, sprays, patches, pastes, and ointments. Ask your doctor if you are not sure if any of your medications contain nitrates or you use street drugs containing nitrates such as amyl nitrate and butyl nitrate ('poppers') while taking vardenafil.

DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor or pharmacist what other prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products you are taking. Be sure to mention any of the following: amiodarone (Cordarone); antifungals such as fluconazole (Diflucan), itraconazole (Sporanox), and ketoconazole (Nizoral); clarithromycin (Biaxin); cyclosporine (Neoral, Sandimmune); danazol (Danocrine); delaviradine (Rescriptor); diltiazem (Cardizem, Dilacor, Tiazac); disopyramide (Norpace); erythromycin (E.E.S. , E-Mycin, Erythrocin); fluoxetine (Prozac, Sarafem); fluvoxamine (Luvox); HIV protease inhibitors such as indinavir (Crixivan) and ritonavir (Norvir); isoniazid (INH, Nydrazid); medications for high blood pressure or irregular heartbeat; metronidazole (Flagyl); other medications or treatments for erectile dysfunction; nefazodone (Serzone); paroxetine (Paxil); procainamide (Procanbid, Pronestyl); quinidine (Quinidex); sotalol (Betapace); troleandomycin (TAO); verapamil (Calan, Covera, Isoptin, Verelan); and zafirlukast (Accolate).Your doctor may need to change the doses of your medications or monitor you carefully for side effects.

Generic Cialis
Is taken orally and helps men suffering from erectile dysfunction achieve and maintain an erection. Generic Cialis works in much the same way as Viagra, but is much faster. The effects of Generic Cialis last much longer than Viagra, up to 36 hours. Tadalafil was initially into Europe with, and is now available in the USA.

TADALAFIL - ORAL

USES:
This medication is used to treat male impotence ? Erectile Dysfunction

HOW TO USE:
This drug is taken orally up to a minimum half an hour before sexual activity. Its effects can last up to 36 hours and it works together with sexual stimulation. No more than one dose should be taken per day, with or without meals.

SIDE EFFECTS:
The most common side effects are headache, indigestion, back pain, muscle aches, flushing, and stuffy or runny nose. These side effects usually go away after a few hours. Patients who get back pain and muscle aches usually get them 12 to 24 hours after taking the drug. Back pain and muscle aches usually go away by themselves within 48 hours.

PRECAUTIONS:
Before using this drug, tell your doctor your medical history, including: allergies ( especially drug allergies ),heart problems such as angina, heart failure, irregular heartbeats Ask your doctor if it is safe for you to have sexual activity. Let him know if you have a history of low blood pressure, high blood pressure, stroke, liver problems, kidney problems or dialysis, retinitis pigmentosa, a rare genetic (runs in families) eye disease, stomach ulcers, a bleeding problem, a deformed penis shape or Peyronie's disease, an erection that lasted more than 4 hours, blood cell problems such as sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, or leukemia. If you have kidney problems, your doctor may start you on a lower dose. If you have kidney or liver problems or you are taking certain medications, your doctor may limit your highest dose to 10 mg and may also limit you to one tablet in 48 hours (2 days) or one tablet in 72 hours (3 days). Do not change your dose without talking to your doctor. Your doctor may lower your dose or raise your dose, depending on how your body reacts to the drug. Do not drink alcohol to excess when taking CIALIS (for example, 5 glasses of wine or 5 shots of whiskey). When taken in excess, alcohol can increase your chances of getting a headache or getting dizzy, increasing your heart rate, or lowering your blood pressure.

DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of all nonprescription and prescription medications you are or may take, especially nitrate medications. Nitrates are commonly used to treat angina. Angina is a symptom of heart disease and can cause pain in your chest, jaw, or down your arm. Medicines called nitrates include nitroglycerin that is found in tablets, sprays, ointments, pastes, or patches. Nitrates can also be found in other medicines such as isosorbide dinitrate or isosorbide mononitrate. Some recreational drugs called "poppers" also contain nitrates, such as amyl nitrate and butyl nitrate. Do not take this drug if you are using medicines commonly known as "alpha blockers ", which are sometimes prescribed for prostate problems or high blood pressure.

Do not use this drug if you are using the above drugs. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure if any of your medicines are nitrates. If you suspect that you have taken an overdose, call your doctor or emergency room right away.
